Two up-and-coming artists, on stage in Chicago. From what I heard about last night, it was crazy...period. With the Wiz Khalifa show, Big Sean performing, and countless other things happening around the city, Chi Town was slapping last night.
Here's a bit of footage from Big Sean performing crowd-favorite 'Supa Dupa Lemondae' and then Chip coming out and rocking 'Fat Raps' with him. Dope.
Also, there was a situation last night when a dude who was supposed to open up for Big Sean didn't get to, and he hopped on stage and grabbed the mic. What happens next is hilarious, watch this for the comic relief of the day...
If you don't go see this movie, you're not my friend, period. It's like not going to see Iron Man 2....or never having watched Transformers. It just doesn't happen. So check out the trailer...
The homie @Djrayyadig has been doing his thing on the 1's and 2's for a minute now. Not only is he the official DJ for the big homie Ro Spit but he also is continuing to build on his brand/himself with these podcasts he's been dropping.
DJ Mo Beatz and DJ Ray are the only two DJ's who's podcasts I listen to on a consistent basis. And of course, they both rep that 313, so it's automatically a win for the city.
Anyway, give these podcasts a listen, they're too dope!!! But don't just take my word for it...click play...like...now...
I've heard mixed reviews about this movie but I recently had time to watch it and I must say I love it.
This movie is extremely creepy, it's actually a mixture between 'A Beautiful Mind', 'Gothika' and 'The Cell'. But it makes you think and I think that's why a lot of people don't like the movie. People don't want to have to think about things and actually use their left side of their brain with regards to things meant for pure entertainment.
Anyway, Leonardo was at his best in this movie; and if you know anything about movies, you know he's one helluva actor when he wants to be, and this is some of his best work...along with co-stars Mark Ruffalo and Ben Kingsley and under the direction of Martin Scorcese, this movie was bound to be a winner. Check out the trailer.
Two of my favorite tracks off their respectable albums, with two of the best in the game when it comes to picking dope beats, creating dope videos, and providing dope visuals. So overall, both of these are just...well, dope.
Oh, and did you know that the producers of Mafia Music 2 are from none other than the state of Michigan?? Yeah, we're winning.
@Skighwalker sighting at the 0:11 mark. What's good homie??
Okay, anyway, these two getting together in the studio brings music to my ears, pun intended.
And if you haven't heard one of the tracks they've already cooked up, off Value Pack 4 (which if you don't have, you're lame), then here you go right here. Thank me later.
I know a lot of people comment about my iCandy posts, and they want me to post more things of substance....and trust me, there are some things that I'm currently working on, so just sit tight, enjoy my posts (whether it be music, iCandy, Comic Relief, etc.) and get ready...it's coming.
